Fotolia Review

Fotolia started back in January 2005, which is reasonably late compared to their microstock competitors. However Fotolia have covered a lot of ground since then when it comes to portfolio size and photographers contributing to Fotolia, ranking themselves with the big players in the microstock market.

A very nifty feature that Fotolia have implemented into their community is the “My Fotolia” site, which allows contributors to build their own webspace with their Fotolia portfolio. As a photographer it enables you to send potential buyers straight to you webspace where they can immediately buy from your portfolio.

Fotolia application process
Once you have registered, you can upload images straight away. It is however recommended you follow the Fotolia training (you can find that in your “Toolbox” menu).
