Dreamstime has been online since 2000. Back then it still was a Royalty-Free stock photography website, selling CD imagery. In March 2004 the concept of Dreamstime was redesigned and upgraded to become one of the most well known and active microstock community’s.
Dreamstime are known as very innovative and creative, this is one of the reasons why Dreamstime is operating in the top segment of the microstock market. Their commission payments to photographers for instance are among the highest in the business, paying anywhere from $0,35 for a level 1 subscription download to $11,90 for a level 5 maximum size download.
